Spent a night at the Doubletree in October. Nice, spacious room with a fridge. Breakfast had a solid selection, and the staff kept my coffee topped up. Enjoyed the bar area. cozy vibe with comfy chairs. Check-in was quick, and the location was convenient just off the M4. the air conditioning barely worked, making the room too warm. Couldn't enjoy dinner in the restaurant due to private events. had to eat in the busy bar instead, which was less than ideal. A few staff members at reception seemed disinterested. There were hidden charges for parking I wasn't informed about.

Cozy stay with a great welcome

Had a warm welcome, and the staff were super friendly! The breakfast was delish with loads of options. Our room was clean and comfy for the kids. But, wow, the noise from the other guests was a bit much at times, especially at night. Loved that there was a bar to chill at too.

I found this hotel perfect for my weekend adventures as it was just a short stroll of about 500 meters to Bincknoll Castle and less than a 5-minute walk to Costa Coffee for my morning caffeine fix, which really added to the charm of my city exploration. the staff were generally helpful, making it easy to get oriented to the local area despite a few hiccups during my stay with room cleanliness not being as frequent as expected but overall it provided a cozy base for my travels.

The junior suite offered a spacious layout and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast spread was impressive with a variety of choices.
